Opaque
In this episode of Biblioscapes in Discussion, I am joined by The Photozine Collective to talk about their latest collaboration, Opaque.
A brand new zine created by 17 analogue photographers who came together to explore the theme of “opaque” in all its forms. Shot entirely on film, each contributor brought their own interpretation to the idea of “opaque,” using different cameras but only one film stock, Rollei retro 400s to create a rich, layered experience.
Opaque isn’t about explaining or clarifying; it’s about feeling, wondering, and letting the unknown sit with you for a while. Whether you’re a long-time film shooter or just someone who loves the magic of analogue, we think you’ll find something to get lost in here.
We also discussed a selection of Yant’s, JM’s, Mark’s and George’s favourite photobooks from their own bookshelves…
