Seascapes

DESCRIPTION

I have lived my entire life close to the sea in the famous fishing town of Brixham in Devon. Being surrounded by the beautiful rugged coastline has inspired me to capture some of the magical seascapes and the dramatic landscapes that the UK has to offer.

My interest in photography began in 2012 when I purchased a DSLR to capture some moments while fishing on the coast. It was from here that I fell in love with the amazing seascapes in the South West, and my passion for photography grew from there. After a few years of trying different styles and genres of photography I found myself falling in love with Long Exposure Seascape Photography.

Long Exposure is an extremely fascinating genre of photography which can transform a mundane every day scene into something completely different. I really enjoy the whole process, from initial planning, to being out on location taking in the wonderful scenery. I also really enjoy the challenges of processing and trying to put my own style to the final image. I hope you enjoy this collection of Colour and Mono coastal images as much as I enjoyed making them.
