DESCRIPTION
‘Passenger’ records my journeys to and from Liverpool on the Cross River Bus.
The route takes in a variety of landscapes from rural suburbia, through the Mersey Tunnel and in to the city centre. Observing the passing scenes through condensation covered windows has been an inspiration.
I've been involved in the visual arts throughout my adult life, with, until recently, a particular interest in painting and drawing. Condensation obscures and distorts, often emulating the qualities that I admire in expressive artwork.Colour is another passion.The rush hour traffic, the shop and the street lights provide a vibrant palette which adds to the appeal.
