DESCRIPTION
“A 45 Year Odyssey” is a look back at the career of renowned landscape photographer Michael Kenna.
Through 100 images—including his most famous masterpieces as well as previously unpublished works, all hand-selected by Kenna himself—the reader is allowed to trace Kenna’s unique black-and-white vision of man-made structures and natural landscapes, often achieved through exposure times of several hours. The book was published to accompany the January 2019 retrospective of the same name at the Tokyo Photographic Museum.
