Michel Lucas

In this episode of Biblioscapes In Discussion I am joined by Michel Lucas to discuss his work and his book, Hoge Venen.

The High Fens are one of the last great wildernesses in the Low Countries. It is also the highest area in the Netherlands and Belgium. It is almost 5 degrees colder, there is twice as much rain and on the highest plateaus there is snow about 70 days a year. Michel has photographed the landscape in this area for the past ten years.

  • David Ward
