Finn Hopson

In this episode of Biblioscapes in Discussion I am joined by Finn Hopson to talk about his new book Fieldwork.

A collection that shows off the undulations, curves and patterns of the South Downs. These images are made in locations that change throughout the seasons, from the bare fields of winter, through the lush greens and yellows of spring and summer, and on into the golden browns before the harvest. These are places that typify the gentle shapes of this landscape and illustrate the surprising beauty that centuries of human interaction have brought to these hills.

We also discussed a selection of Finn’s favourite book from his own bookshelf…

  • Shipping Forecast… Mark Powers

  • Breakfast… Niall McDiarmid

  • Great North Road… Paul Graham

  • Segments… Iain Sarjeant

  • Mother River… Yan Wang Preston

You can see more of Finn’s work on his website and find him on Instagram and Twitter.
