Description
The Beautifully Mundane Cornwall uses photos of Cornwall taken by the man behind the project Michael Redmond and accompanies them with words from contributors such as authors, artists, photographers, and poets.
The project has attracted the likes of artist Grayson Perry, his psychotherapist and author wife Philippa Perry and writer/presenter Rev Richard Coles to give their impressions of the images and Cornwall.
The contributors, who also include Webb Street Company's Julian Davies, were each sent an apparently mundane photograph and invited to write, with no input from the photographer, a few words, a few sentences, in direct response to the image. No parameters, no rules, just however the photo ‘spoke’ to them.
