Description
Shoreline brings together a collection of images captured on the Northumbrian coastline. This hardback limited edition showcases the beauty that can be found when we take a closer and deeper look at familiar subjects such as rocks, sand and seaweed. David says, ‘The best intimate landscapes are those that exert a charm which extends beyond their limited field of view and invites us to let our creativity flow. All the elements in my photographs have been arranged by nature alone. I haven’t added or removed anything from when the scene was discovered. It is important that my work retains this natural integrity’.
Shoreline is a result of a three years exploration that set out to capture the fascinating landscapes of a familiar and often overlooked area - the earth beneath our feet.
