DESCRIPTION
Among Piers is a collection of images celebrating the shapes and textures that exist beneath coastal piers and jetties. The boardwalks above are often bustling colourful affairs, as quintessential to the image of the great British summer holiday as ice cream and fish suppers. Below, engineering complexity exists and with it the interaction of structure, sea and sunlight. The light reflects and refracts, at times strange and ethereal, with patterns emerging to engage the imagination.
