Samuel Fradley

In this episode of Biblioscapes in Discussion, I am joined by Samuel Fradley to talk about his work and his book Winds of Change.

Winds of Change reflects on a difficult and uncertain time in Britain’s history and my own personal fears and anxiety about not only Britain’s future, but the future of the world and its effects on those close to me. The old world is dying, the one that we knew has gone. As echos of the 1930s engulf Europe, the United States and Asia, it has become clear that the balance of power and future of humanity has changed. Where Britain belongs in this new world is yet to be found.

We also discussed a selection of Sam’s favourite photobooks from his own bookshelf…

  • DEFEAT by Ajaz Ahmed and Christian Watson

  • The Prospect of Immortality by Murray Ballard

  • Bastard Eden Our Chernobyl by Donald Weber

  • The Island by Robert Darch

You can see more of Sam’s work on his website and find him on Instagram and Twitter.
