Jeffrey Conley

In this episode of Biblioscapes In Discussion I am joined by Jeffrey Conley to discuss his work and his books, Winter and Reverence.

Conley crafts each of his prints by utilising two traditional darkroom methods, gelatin silver and platinum/palladium printing processes. As both the artist and the printer, Conley’s first-hand technique creates a compendium of work that is as wide-ranging as it is intricate and intimate.

We also discussed a selection of Jeffrey’s books from his own bookshelf…

  • Here Far Away… Pentti Sammallahti

  • Remembering the Future… Angel Albarrán and Anna Cabrera

  • Ephemera… Paul Cupido

  • The Magic Eye… Rene Groebli

  • Platinum Prints… Irving Penn

You can see more of Jeffrey’s work on his website and find him on Instagram.
