James Ewer

In this episode of Biblioscapes in Discussion, I am joined by James Ewer to talk about his work and his zine Feeling Mistless.

Anyone with a keen interest in woodland photography can be forgiven for arriving on location and muttering under their breath “this scene needs mist”.

My aim was to bust the myth that woodland photography needs mist.

We also discussed a selection of James’ favourite photobooks from his own bookshelf…

  • National Trust Photo Library

  • Beara by Norman McCloskey

  • Rhythm of Nature by Sandra Bartocha

  • Gathering Time by Simon Baxter

You can see more of James’ work on his website and find him on Instagram.
