December’s Book Club is on Monday 4 December from 7.30pm to 9pm (UK time).

This will be another sequencing discussion following on from the event we ran earlier this year.

I am preparing a little task or two for all participants to complete in advance of the session which will provide points of discussion on the night.

October’s Book Club is on Tuesday 24 Ocrober from 7.30pm to 9pm (UK time).

The May Book Club event is on Tuesday 23 May from 7.30pm to 9pm (UK time) and this month we will be discussing Sequencing.

I will email all participants two small sets of images and ask everyone to create their own sequence in advance of the session so we can use these as starting points for discussion.

You will not be asked to present your sequence, it is just for discussion with everyone using the same images.

The theme this month is colour.

The first PechaKucha of 2023 takes place on Tuesday 21 February and gives you an opportunity to present your own work to the group.. this can be a completed project you want to share, a book/zine you are working on and want feedback, etc... anything goes.

The Format

It will be a Pecha Kucha format allowing you to show 10 slides for 30 second each and talk through them as you wish. This gives you a total of 5 minutes to present your work, the slides will change automatically.

There will be an opportunity for feedback from the group following your presentation.

What do I need to provide?

If you choose to present your work you will be required to provide a title and the slides by midnight on 17 February. Full details of what and how to provide it are below the registration form.

If you wish to present work, please register as a 'Presenter' otherwise register as 'Audience' to participate in discussion. There are 8 slots to present the work and it will be first come first served.

Recording

This event will be recorded and I will provide a link to the video in the Slack group for people to watch back.

If you have regsitered to present your work, I require the following information from you by midnight 17 February 2023.

1. The title of your presentation

2. 10 slides/images in JPG format titled 1.jpg, 2.jpg, 3.jpg, etc (2,000 px wide landscape is fine).
